I'm so excited for hockey this year. The main reason I loathe summer is the lack of hockey. I patiently wait all summer for this. A new season. A new chance at the Cup. Being a Blues fan isn't easy. 42 years without a Cup. The lockout and previous ownership (or lack thereof) ruined all interest in Blues in St. Louis. Hopefully last year and this year will change that. It's good to see John Hamm showing his Blues and St. Louis pride. Maybe that'll strike up some interest, although I wish he was wearing a Don Draper suit in the ads. Let's go Blues.

The Sheraton in Chicago has (at least) two Microsoft Surfaces to help find stuff to do and places to go in Chicago. It's really fluid and using it seems pretty natural. Feels like a giant iPhone and I love it.

Per Butch's request, I am updating my Posterous with 20 photos of this trip so far.
I got to the airport at 4:45am Central yesterday, flew standby to Milwaukee at 6:45am, flew standby to Seattle at 8:45am and landed in Seattle at 11am Pacific. The fish market was awesome. Tons of awesome street performers and cool shops. I asked a local where to eat and he pointed me towards Jack's Fish Spot where I had awesome scallops and fries and clam chowder. Then SATS weekend kicked off with Sam and I going to an Asian bar with maybe two other customers. Clarissa, Kevin, Gee and Ali showed up shortly after where we played some drinking games at the Westin. Sokita, Alex, Chris and Mal eventually showed up and then we headed to the Tom Pfaeffle memorial and saw Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground. After a dose of Kirk Sez, we went back to the Westin and hung out until the noise complaint. That was as painful so write as I'm sure it was to read so thank you for bearing with me. Just enjoy the pictures at least.Michael J Kraemer
