9 Year Old Girls Softball - So Many Walks
This is my cousin's second year playing softball. She seems to enjoy it more so than the other sports she attempted. Last year her team smoked the competition during the regular season and came very close to winning a tournament towards the end of the year.
This year they're pitching. Oh man is it exciting. I thought the pitching machine was inconsistent. I'm going to say the ball to strike ratio is appoximately 953:1. Their run limit is 5 and, with as many walked runs as there are, rarely are less than 5 runs scored.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching my cousin play sports. It's great that these girls are enjoying themselves and love the sport, but are a couple more hits too much to ask for? I enjoy entertainment like 91% of people in the world (the other 9% being people who saw Dance Flick). When these girls start pitching strikes and swinging for the fences I'll stop blogging during the game.
